I still use the old wet stones and will sit and edge those blades to where they could be used to shave. The wet stone is becoming a lost art I think. I remember when my Dad taught me how to use them. He was a carpenter so he used to sharpen all his chisels and draw knives, etc....
I've been tempted to purchase something different many times, but just go back to the stones.. Nothing better then a sharp knife in my book. Good luck with it.
I sure wish I could sharpen a knife with a wet stone. All I do is make my knife duller!!!You should start a knife sharpening service.I would surely send mine. Tom.
