going after dominant buck, doe or anything??


I hear the rattling will call any deer in. More so in the run and post rut. A loud Aggresive rattling will attract a dominant buck along with other deer. According to the American hunter, 57% of all deer rattled in are undetected by the rattler, so watch it!! lol

Also, a doe in heat call will call does in very well in the early rut, along with the rut, and post rut, but attracts a lot of younger bucks during the pre rut. If you plan on getting a dominant buck, I found that useing a doe in heat call followed by a real low pitched grunt tending call with a mix of dominant scent and doe in estrus scent, REALLY pisses that big buck off lol! He comes a running. These are from my experiences.
