Well my wife and I did our first Christmas as a married couple tonight. Last year we were engaged and she gave me a beautiful Ruger 10/22 but this year she did even better. I have had a feeling she was going to get this for me for a couple months now but I still freaked when I saw the real thing.

We had already opened all our presents when she goes to another room and comes back with that unmistakable long box and I tore into it like a 8 year old and a train set. As I opened the gift I same that beautiful word every man longs for Weatherby. She had bought me a Weatherby Vanguard Deluxe Sporterin 300 Wby. Mag. Its a thing of beauty and I have plans to make this a fine tuned machine this spring. Now I just need a Burris Fullfield scope, Talley light weight rings, 300 wby. reloading dies, brass, and 180 gr SST's. Its going to be a fun couple of months.
