This was my first year bowhunting, and even though I got a couple deer down I screwed up PLENTY. Everyone does, and a lot of times its like everyone else said: about luck. You can do everything right but sometimes the deer just haven't read your game plan. Persistence pays off, trust me. Besides, you have the rest of your life to bowhunt,things will get better.
