Regardless of the " Howard Hill" clone proclamations you will hear, you sound as though you are an
average bowhunting shooter that could benefit by some minor tweaking of your gear and your shooting skill.
Don' t let the stories of " Robin Hood" or fletch/vane-trimming shots be your guide. " Robin Hood" shots are an accidental (chance) phenomenon, and fletch/vane cutting and dented or gouged shafts are counter-productive.
Question: During your many years of hunting, is it common that you miss your quarry and has it been and is it still the norm that you just wounded and lost many deer…. or whatever your primary hunting quarry is?
