Default RE: frustrated with myself (summary of season)

I don't have enough time to relate all there stories I have of me "screwing" up. I have had some many so called chip shots that did not result in downed deer, it really isn't funny. However, the thing to remember is to learn from every outing, not just the outing that resulted in a dead deer. I try to learn something new every time I get in the stand and I make a mistake, well I learn from it and try to figure out how to prevent it in the future. In your case, have you thought about maybe changing rests? You said you arrow fell off and this is what cost you your deer. Learn from that, maybe a new rest, maybe clearing limber around your stand better, but learn something from this so that is does not happen again. Everyone on this forum have had days (whole seasons) like this, that is way it is some great when everything finally does come together. Good luck!!!!
