Default RE: Lets see those pics....

I bought this one in 1977...It was made by Bob Watts (Foxfire V)...It was a .45 caliber but after a run in with a bear, I decided to
make a .54...It's now a .40 caliber...I killed about 25 deer with it while it was a .45 andin 1979killed my first wild turkey with this gun,
in Virginia, with a wing bone call that I had made...

I started on this one in 1988 and finished in 1990...It took me about 200 hours to complete...It's a .54 with a 38 inch barrel and a
small Siler lock...I mold my own balls for both rifles, buy pillow ticking in bulk from WalMart and make my own patch lube...In the .54
my standard hunting load is 80grs of FFF Goex...In the .40, I've settled on 25grs of FFF Goex for my small game hunting load...I've taken
at least 30 deer with the .54 and actually use this more than my .243 or my Knight Disc, which hasn't been loaded in 3 seasons...
