RE: 270 win VS. 270 WSM
There is no difference loading the WSM over any other round. My ruger likes the 130 gr ballistic tips push by 63 gr of IMR 4350 (max load in the Nosler manual), while it is close to being a compressed load it isn't. depends on what powder you decide to use. Like has been stated I4350, H4831sc and RE19 are all excellent powders to use for the WSM's Remember your handloading to tailor the load to the gun. Many people get the best accuracy at just over standard 270 win velocities. If you already have a 270 than there would be no need to get a 270 WSM, unless of course if you want one.
