Default RE: Question from a newby bowfisher

I don't shoot my fish arrows in foam much. The best practice is to go out and shoot in the water. Seeing as how it's a bit on the chilly side right now, the water shooting is a bit tough.

When I do shoot foam with a muzzy quick release tip, I loosen the tip, turn the barbs backwards, and tighten the tip back up(so it's like a trident) and shoot it that way. It will tear up a foam target but it also pulls out fairly easy.

Have fun and welcome to the site!
