this past friday my season just got a little better. I have been after this buck since the first time i got him on camera back in august. I have been hunting him hard since the season started hoping to kill him but preparing myself for if one of the other guys in out club kills him. He had been seen 2 times during the season, once by me and once by another, but no shot oppurtunity. THe other guy had him at 20 steps a month ago but he didn't make it the 2 more steps to the shooting lane.

But on friday night it all changed. On day when it was hot (73 degrees) and unlikely for deer movement he came up the hill at 25 steps and made my season a better one. THis is the first big buck i've ever killed.
