i fixed my remington troubles today. while talking with a good friend about my trouble he stated that he has a remington 6.8 that was dropping shells as well. we started looking at the extractors, they are for small caliber centerfires up to a .223,the 22-250 which is a .308 case in esence should have a larger extractor. i took one out of my 30-06 and installed it in the bolt of my 22-250. it is working fine, has not dropped a shell one. so a little time shooting will tell the truth, but it only makes sense.
