Then too you'll have to aclimate the scope well in advance and don't expose it to warmth before you hunt to keep it from fogging.
If a scope fogs up today with them using nitogen in place of air inside, the seal is bad and it should go back to the factory for repair.

The use of dry lubes is a great idea.
