i use the .243 and my grandpa using the 25-06 and hes said that he would rather use my .243 because its less recoil and it shoots flatter and knocks deer over.
I can't help but wonder where people get the idea that the 243win shoots flatter than the 25-06.Using similar bullets in both,the 25-06 shoots flatter than the 243win.
