You'll do fine with a mouth call.
The only real advantage with e-callers is that the sound is not on top of you so the yotes don't look at you. It basically means you will have a better chance of getting away with movements to get your gun on the dog if the dog comes in at an angle different than you expected, but the dogs are still
real weary and wiley so you won't get away with much movement. Your ABSOLUTELY FINE with a HAND CALL!
100% agreed, I don't know why people don't like mouth calls. They are easy to use, cheap, and sound better IMO.
