I talked with a couple guys with these rifles when they came out, they ran all the .40 and .357 bullets through them with little luck until they slowed them down. My best guess is the sabots like to jump the rifling when it is that fast, or are spinning fast enough down the barrel that the bullets are not spinning right along with them. Just a guess.
