Yea My Dad just got a new encore, and I think Ijust about haveHim talked into getting the .270 barrel for it. lol I've got a .222 I shoot, but it doesn't have the knock down power a .270 would. We have tons of coyotes in our area. My Dad let a deer lay over night once, because He was unsure of His hit. The next morning We found the deer...well some of it. The coyotes got to it before We did, and totally tore up the cape of it, and had ruind the meat.
