I try to bury my stands in cover. If i use a ladder stand i like to have a lot of cover around me, my favorite right now has two ceder trees next to it and i cut a small hole through them so i can shoot. The stand is 8 yards from a massive trail and 3 yards from another, havent been busted yet, knock on wood. And my dad shot his biggest buck to date out of it.

My hang on stands I like to have lots of limbs and if i cant have that i choose a bigger tree where my body is covered by the sheer mass of the tree.
