Default RE: Success = Controversy

After all the deer people have seen me kill with a bow and all the others they heard about.. it still happens. This year I went down in the Southern Tier for one day of bowhunting...the last day of the bow season. I shot a nice buck walking in with my climber on my back. Just one of those things where I was there and he was there and I took and made a nice 40 yard shot. I was gone from camp 1 hour and was back with the deer. One older member of my brothers hunting club insisted I had to have shot the deer with the gun. How he came up with that I have no idea. He's my nephews father-in-law. I finally just said, you know, if you want to believe that... fine, but I don't have a gun with me.On another case I guess I got a little clummsy with the knife inside the chest cavity and made a couple odd marks trying to cut off the windpipe. I was question tono end about why are their bulletfragment marks inside the chest. I just don't care what people think at that point. Believe what you want, I shot the deer.....where's yours? One of my friends for years used to just call me Lucky... "Mr. Lucky". Irked him to no end we could sit in the same woods and I'd kill deer and he'd draw a blank.
