Ever since we have lived here it has been the way we said.. now before we lived here i dont know.. but since we have been practing it the numbers of mature bucks have increased alot an its seems to work
There is my point. Before you moved there, they may have been shooting every buck they could, thus leaving little to none to grow old. You guys come along and now only shoot "some" of the available bucks. Therefore you are going to have more big ones. But until you know what was shot before, you can't attribute big bucks to shooting the "bad" gened ones. Who knows, you could find out that if you let those go too, you many have even more big bucks.
