BWIW, I put the selfbow down for the late season. Took the King's Pawn out with some Douglas Fir arrows sice I was pretty much driving tacks with it. Yesterday was the last day and I had a few does within 40 but elected not to shoot. Since I was not able to shoot at anything at the last bit of light I decided to take a shot at a piece of grass sticking out of the snow at 20 yards. Took the shot and seen the arrow sale past the grass. I was a little stumped. After climbing down I went to pick up the arrow and noticed it was broken. [&:]Went back to the piece of grass and noticed it wasn't grass at all but a small shrub that the deer had grazed down to pretty much nothing. In the middle of the shrub was the other potion of my arrow.
