I have never used one, however, I heard similar comments as psandhu made. I am a farmer and have equipment to plant whatever, so I don' t plan to ever own one. Seems to me that they may be too small and light to get much planting done. I heard the cost is relatively high as well. You may want to compare their cost and resale value with some used farm equipment. Like I said, I never used one, so this is just what I heard and think.
