You know? What is the big deal about them anyway? Sure, they are cool but is it really that big a deal to have a short action over a long action? Is it mostly the weight savings of the rifle? I just don' t get what the big fanfare is about. An extra 1/2" of travel on the bolt seems pretty meaningless to me.
Not trying to offend anyone. I came real close to buying a 300 WSM. Just trying to figure out why they are such a big deal. Maybe eveyone is just excited about something new? I dunno...
