It's -14 below as I speak right now. Suppose to hit -20 tonight. I won't be going hunting tomorrow morning but tomorrow evening I'll be hitting a new stand that I put up this afternoon. I'm really excited about It!!

Actually it didn't get as cold as they were predicting. Only 17 below... not that it mattered as the deer were already heading through the spot right before I could get there. No chance for a stalk as the wind was marginal so Ibacked out without spooking them. Iwent on a long rangescouting mission instead so I will be ready for Troy when he gets here.
Saw 3 good buck and one really nice buck.Of coursethe really nice buck hangs out in an area with no cover and pops across the road on posted land I don't have permission for at the first sign of trouble. Sneaky devil!! [:'(] I"ll put Troy on him when he gets here. [8D] I have a double drop to go after !!

Dammit anyway!! I had to take a "snow check" on hunting this evening.
Damn wind direction decided It had to come out of the E SE on me Instead of the regular N NW wind I've been getting. SOB I was looking forward to hunting this particular spot this evening!![:@]
