I have come to the conclusion that it dont matter. Heck, Bob (aka Rev) shot a buck on my land last Fri. wearing no camo at all. He was in a tree with little to noback ground and had no problem with the deer seeing him. I have done the same.
The part of the equation left out here iswhether you drew on the animal while you were out in the open and still had it not spook? In all 3 of my situations I listed, I drew, they looked at the movement then dismissed it. Previous to ASAT, I'd get picked out or busted drawing then the game was over. None of that happened since I stated using ASAT.
Thats why I pointed out deer respond to motion. And you are right, I never drew on any of the deer I mentioned. I was out watching the deer because I was shooting yotes. I would never draw on any animal looking my way no matter how good I felt my camo was.
