The landowner that I just met and secured permission with for the 08 season. I'm a social guy. HCH can atest to that. Actually anyone that knows can. I like to stoop by the landowners place at least once a week when I'm hunting as its on the way to his land. Everytime I stopped in was for at least a 2 hr talk....... 4 hrs being the norm. We ate drank coffee and would shoot the poop. Inevitabley he would pick up the phone and call another landowner that was in the area and ask if we could hunt there too.
One day it was juyst like this. He told us he saw 20 deer. 7 bucks on the way to a friends place to help her out. 2 of the bucks were fighting on the rd. Our guy had to stop his truck and wait for them to get away...... when he drove by he stopped 50yds down the rd and stopped. Looked in the rear view miror and they were already back at it. When he told me this i asked where and he picked up the phone. Great guy to say the least!!!!!
