Sandilands called me tonight and the deer were thick out of my window. I had 16 in the bottom out 250 yds and 4 more off to the west...all at 3:00-4:00..well before dark. They were feeding on soybeans. 12 more were across the road grazing in a pasture. IT was 50 degrees out yeaterday when I got home from church and it dropped to 0 in a few hours. Dipped below 0 and 2day it never got above 3. All of a sudden the deer started clearing out of the bottom and runnin like heck. Well, low and behold this character appeared. 150 yds from the house is where this pic was taken. I took it while still on the phone with Rob. He is near a deer carcass that he has drug over to the area. Took it one handed and trying to hold the phone and the door without spookin him. I will get him with a bow later.
Bottom line, cold makes deer feed, get out there and hunt ya wusses.[8D]
