I've used both with excellent results. Did deer cain around 10 yrs ago & black magic like 5 yrs ago to freshen it up - have 2 licks that look like a bomb went off - probably 4' wide, 7' long, 2' deep! I haven't freshened them up for a couple years because of IL regulations, but they still frequent it, especially in the Spring.
