You seem to forget that in most places,it's HIGHLY illegal to hunt in the dark-especially for deer and other game animals.

In lowlight I would go at least with the 50mm but rather 56mm forserious hunting inlow to nolight at all.
True, but there are cloudy days, dark woods, creek bottoms, west side of fields with tall trees, etc....where light beats you before the clock does.
