I have learned my lesson. I always take pictures. I shot my biggest whitetail ever, I measured him and showed some friends, but did not take pictures. I was in college and couldnt afford to have him mounted. I left his skull in rack under my deck in my moms backyard in a small shed. Someone that was probably doing work on the house stole him and three other bucks I had in there. Wish i had pics. Never again.
