Chubber, The Blue Loc-tite #242 is the one you need to use. If you use the Red #262 you' ll never get ithe screw loose if you ever need to remove it.I' m not sure but the Green LT is #290(?). I have no experience with the green.Just use the blue on the base screws and not on the rings screws.Loc-tite is available at auto parts stores in small tubes.One little tube will last you for a long time.
