I found the biggest buck I saw all year when I was looking at the topo of the land I hunt......trying to figure out the route a big buck would take in the wind.

I picked a really thick drainage ditch that doesn't look like much on the aerial. I'm glad I thought outside the box that day. The ditch is only on the property I hunt for about 100yds......but that's where he was. I hunted it 5 times and saw him 3X, there.

I hope he makes it through. He was a big 7, this year (biggest buck I saw all season).
