I don't mean to hijack the thread but I had a question of my own on this subject... I understand that the 5.56 mm is comperable to a .223so along that lines of thinking is the 6.8 equivalent to a readily available hunting round or is it only a military round as of now? I believe that this round would be enough to take a deer or antelope. What are your thoughts?
