the little plastic skirt (wad) should come off from 10 to 50yrds.

drop your charge. the copper class powerbelts (245, 245 AT, 295, 295AT mainly) are known to frag. with charges over 85grs at close range shots. (15 to 60yrds)


try an 50 gr pellet and 30gr pellet (80grs) or loose 70 to 80grs. you may see groups get a little better on top of that.

all will agree, 150gr "mag" charge is not needed with any bullet.
