Nope...My Knight Disc has a blued barrel and is about 7-8 years old...No rust on it at all...Just clean it properly...Stainless will rust as well if not properly cared for...

btw...I'm 53 and have guns that I have had over 40 years, none have stainless barrels and none have rust spots on them...
