Default RE: WTB: Remington 700ML

As Big Country:
has stated the Rem ML has had their downfalls and ACCURACY has been the major one. Most of it was due to inconsistant barrel rifling and powder you can or can't burn effectively. They had burrs out the A** in the rifling and it took alot of shooting and scrubbing to make them shoot. And all the original ones had #11 cap firing systems. I'm going out on a limb here and giving everyone on this site a chance to slam me, BUT Remington ML and most of the newer rifles and overseas JUNK they sell is just that JUNK! Now I feel better that that is out.
On the other hand They do and have made superior shotguns and rifles early on, BUT not as of recent date. I own several Remingtons and work on hundreds each year and the quality dept. SUCKS here of late. Times have changed guys you don't buy apples for apples anymore and lucky if you get apples for oranges, usually it is cumquats? And unfortunatly it isn't just Remington products, Its about evrey make out there anymore, trying to cut cost and trim the bottom line. OK I'm off my soap box for now. Sorry
