like said before. try to locate a general roosting area. look for larger trees that have decent hieght. then look under neath these trees and around them for scattered feathers and scat.
other things to look for would be areas that looks like a giant rake has been through. you will see small piles of leaves thrown everywhere. this is one of their feeding areas. the only problem is that they wont stay in the same areas day after day.
also i have found thatthe colder the wind the deeper in the woods they generally are.
