If that thing doesn' t get worked out, and you decide he still should keep it please take the time to show him how to properly handle a situation like a stuck misfed round.........empty cases are one thing. Live rounds are another.
Sounds like a piece of CRAP.........I' d take it back to Wally World and raise holy hell that it doesn' t work! They' ll refund the money if you whine hard enough and maybe threaten bodily harm. Then take the boy and his money and get him that Ruger 10/22.
