I'm sure the DNR will look at this years harvest, along with the herd counts, and what this winter is like. My guess is there will be fewer EAB , and/or early seasons may be eliminated in some areas.
I hope so. Actually, I have less of an issue with EAB than I do with the October antlerless hunts. Even there, the DNR was pushed...kicking and screaming...to move them towards the middle of the month and away from the prime, early rut late October timeframe. At least now it does not take away some of the best bowhunting time available.
