Thjey shoot very well in most cases. Another option would be to look at the marlin xl7. It's VERY well performing beyond it's price range of about 300$ or a tad more retail. I recently got 1 in shop for a buddy's present and it outdid our expectations. I was shocked at how well it shot and it has trigger similiar to savage's accutrigger,and comes with bases.
