Default A few questions..

--Is there any type of plant that will grow on hilltops/hillsides? For most its not reccomended, but are there any?

--My situation is that I have a small parcel and want to do a small 1 acre plot (a harvest plot), and I should note that there are a lot of bean fields around me, and a lot of corn about 2 miles away. I thought about beans, but they will get demolished with such a small plot... I think my decision is going to be clover or winter wheat. Will clover or winter wheat not grow on hilltops/sides?

What are your suggestions for this type of plot? Its an awesome early bow season spot, but late season gets rough, and I need a food source on the property. The plot will be a long narrow strip near a pinch point stand. Winter wheat? Clover? Beans?.. Fall Plantingwith winter wheat instead of spring clover?? Basically, I want some ideas.
I need advice!

My ph is pretty good, but I'll have it better by planting time. Its not drastically steep but a slight slope, will it hold enough moisture?.. Any one's advice, suggestions, ideas, are greatly appreciated!
Thanks yall
