Do you need a ball starter with these? I've never used one with my Marlin muzzle loader I have now as I found it just as easy to just start it with my fingers to where it's just enough to hold it in the barrel then just use the ram rod. I had a ball starter but took it back to the store as it took more time than just doing it with the ram rod. Can I do that with this gun too or is something different where I will need a ball starter?

Do you have a link to the scope bases? I've still not found them as what I found on their site says it fits other model rifles but not the Yukon or whatever you said to get them for.
