I've been told that after a few minutes, only the ammonia smell remains and any human scent that was in the pee is gone. I really don't know if the deer consider the smell of human urine as a threat or not. I've been caught with my pants down by deer before and they didn't even look up. Of course, I didn't get the shot with the bow at that time.
