I HAVE DISCUSSED THIS NIGHT WITH CAL EXTENSIVELY. I BELEIVE THAT SHOULD THE TRUTH BE TOLD CAL SAID THAT TAKING A 45 YARD SHOT IN A STIFF CROSS WIND (THAT NIGHT 30 TO 60 MPH) WOULD BE UNETHICAL.
Since neither you nor Cal were present when the shot opportunity was presented,you have no idea of the actual wind strength and direction at the actual shot opportunity location.
