I have had friends question my choice of a 500 grain conical on deer. Isn't that too much bullet for a White tail they ask? I respond, I can knock a deer flat. I don't drag, I don't track, I don't see a problem.

Sounds like a good bullet. You sure have got me interested in a Savage. There is one for sale in the classified on another forum, scope, ring bases, and rifle for $600.00 It sounds like a good deal.
