Wow... That kind of reminds me of the stories my two brothers-in-law tell of their days in 'Nam. One BIL talks about eating raw monkey, because his unit got shotdown/shot up/blown upand the survivors (6 of them)had to live in the jungle with nothing - not even C rations - for 3 days straight before they were rescued. To this very day, my BIL is one of 6 that made it home alive. [&:]
