Default RE: Silencing a speed bow.

ORIGINAL: drockw

BTW, guys, I had a nock break today when i was shooting at gander mtn. The nock actually broke off and hit me in the face. The arrow (fortunately) was propelled out of the bow safely and straight and no damage was done but god was it scary!!! I knew exactly what happened but it was weird. I was shooting a back tension release so the shot was even mmore of a suprise b/c i got popped in the face, and the bow was a tad bit louder. I check my nocks pretty often but i guess this one wasnt very noticable and had a stress crack in it.

I got freakin LUCKY I wasnt plastered in the face by Bowtech limb[&:]. Could have been my bow we were talking about on here BS.
Derek
I'd say that I have been pretty lucky. I'm taking it to that same proshop because that is where I bought it.
