When I called the dnr about it I got 2 differant answers. 1 said you need a valid license to hunt in gun season your gun license,and nothing about which weapon you hunt with.. The other said you have to follow the gun laws which states thesize of gun you can use.The law said nothing about using a bow so as far as I know there is no law that says you can't use a bow but you are not following the law if you take a bow because of the gun law. I hope you can follow this it's kinf of confusing and I know I'm not explaining it well.

K now you got me thinking I'm confused. It
ISillegal to use a bow in those parts of the state that are not CWD so how could what you say be true? How could you be needing a gun tag to bow hunt during the gun seasons when bowhunting during the gun seasons is illegal in non CWD zones?
