I'd look into buying some wind proofing material as well.. I used to be able to get camo gore-tex fabric in 4' rolls... still have some laying around i think... that would be ideal to put over top of a sleeping bag...

One thing w/ the electically heated suits... what happens when your batteries die? do they make ones w/ solar panel attachments?
