I have one of those permits. But what real disabled person on a fixed income can afford a 12,000 sport vehicle. You do realize the atv must meet DCNR specs ,checked out by them and get a license placard.
cardeer, you should see number of young ,fit looking hunters that brought in ATVS this year.
hundredsof them.
ALL had bad backs i talked to
they were going down trails in clinton county.
i was shocked and even stopped 2 , i said,HOW CAN YOU RIDE AROUND DURING HUNTING SEASON DISTURBING MY DEER HUNTING, THE NOISE DROVE WHAT DEER I THINK WERE THERE OUT.[:@]
i was PISSED.[:@]
so, i called the DCNR, they said, yes, the disabled can use a atv to hunt off of or go into woods.
i seen 1 of the locals that was using one, his only problem is he is to FAT and too LAZY.
IF A HUNTER IS REALLY UNABLE TO WALK,ABOVE 75 YEARS OLD,i can see it.
but the people i see can sit on bar stool and are climbing up treestands etc ,dont look to much like they cant walk.[:@]
