Raghorn - I'm know exactly what you mean. I spent a week in Colorado in 07 hunting Mulie's. Saw several good 4x4 and 5x5, but they were always on private property when I saw them - I just couldn't connect. On the last day to hunt, I saw this monster and shot him (225 yards). I went DIY. Packing him out almost killed me (an easterner trying to breath at 10,000ft). Some of my greatest hunting memories came from this trip. I'm very proud of my very modest trophy! I can't wait to go back.
